Book Sleep Assessment — £795What is included in the sleep assessment?
The Diagnostic Sleep Assessment at £795 is a comprehensive package designed to identify the underlying cause of your sleep problem, whether that is obstructive sleep apnoea, insomnia, upper airway resistance syndrome (UARS), or another sleep disorder.
The WatchPat One home sleep study
The WatchPat One is an FDA-approved, clinically validated home sleep study device. It is sent to your home by post before your appointment. You wear it overnight and return it — results are ready for your consultation.
It measures sleep stages, oxygen saturation, pulse rate, snoring, body position, and respiratory effort, giving a comprehensive picture of your sleep architecture.
The assessment includes:
- 60-minute face-to-face consultation with Dr Natasha
- WatchPat One home sleep study device (sent by post before your appointment)
- Validated sleep questionnaires (completed before your appointment)
- Preliminary blood tests at the clinic
- Full interpretation of results at your consultation
- Specialist referral letter if required — to a sleep physician, ENT, respiratory consultant, or neurologist
Who is the sleep assessment for?
The sleep assessment is designed for adults experiencing any of the following:
Snoring
Loud or disruptive snoring that disturbs sleep or a partner.
Suspected sleep apnoea
Waking unrefreshed, gasping, or being told you stop breathing during sleep.
Insomnia
Difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep, or waking too early.
Excessive daytime sleepiness
Feeling uncontrollably sleepy during the day despite adequate hours of sleep.
Night-time waking
Frequent waking that disrupts sleep architecture.
UARS
Upper Airway Resistance Syndrome, a condition often missed on standard sleep tests.
You do not need a referral to book. Simply contact the practice and the team will arrange for the WatchPat device to be sent to you before your appointment date.
Dr Natasha's sleep medicine training
Dr Natasha completed CBT for Insomnia training at Oxford University in 2021 and the Oxford University Insomnia Module the same year. She is a member of the British Sleep Society.
This specialist training, combined with her GP background, allows her to take a genuinely comprehensive approach to sleep problems — considering not only the physical causes such as sleep apnoea, but also the psychological and behavioural factors that drive insomnia and poor sleep.
She is one of only a small number of GPs in London offering a complete diagnostic sleep assessment at GP level, including the WatchPat home sleep study, without the need for a specialist referral before assessment.
What happens after the assessment?
Your results and sleep study data are reviewed together with Dr Natasha at your 60-minute consultation. You will receive a clear explanation of your findings and a personalised management plan.
Where further specialist input is needed, Dr Natasha will write a referral letter to the appropriate consultant — typically a sleep physician, ENT surgeon, respiratory physician, or neurologist — through her network of Harley Street specialists. Referral letters are usually ready within 24 to 48 hours of your appointment.
For patients with insomnia without a primary sleep-disorder cause, Dr Natasha can offer CBT for Insomnia (CBTi) guidance as part of the management plan.
